About Natisha
Natisha “Our Miss” Brooks is an educator, mental health advocate, and community leader committed to serving Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District.
Originally from Gilmer, Texas, she is a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Chemistry. She moved to Nashville in 1989 and served 33 years as a homeschool educator, specializing in special needs students with an emphasis on autism.
She is a proud mother of two and is widely known for her community presence, compassion, and leadership. Today, she advocates for mental health services and housing for special needs citizens.
